Recruitment Marketing Public
An Employee Ambassador is an organization user who humanizes the brand by sharing authentic insights and answering candidate questions on the public career site. They can:
- Respond to candidate questions via the platform.
- Receive targeted email notifications for questions.
- Participate in live chat events.
- Review discussions awaiting approval (but cannot approve replies).
- Create their profile details that appear publicly.
- Engage with candidates to showcase workplace culture and provide advice.
Creating your ambassador profile
When an Organisation Administrator extends an invitation for you to become an Employee Ambassador, you will receive an email containing this invitation. The email will prompt you to click on a specific link, which will direct you to complete your ambassador profile. Upon clicking the link, you will be redirected to the Recruitment Marketing homepage. From there, you can easily navigate to your name in the upper right-hand corner of the page, where you can finalise and complete your ambassador profile. This profile is designed to highlight and showcase your unique identity and professional attributes as an ambassador.

Access
The Employee Ambassador role has access to the following features on the side menu:

Customizing your home dashboard
As an Ambassador, you can customize your home dashboard to see a quick summary of all your discussions at a glance. To add the Discussions Overview widget, click the Customise button on your dashboard and select it from the list.
Answering questions
Questions submitted by candidates can be assigned to Employee Ambassadors to respond to.
You can see all the questions assigned to you or others, as well as those still awaiting answers, in the Discussions management section of the system. Content is reviewed before being made available to a wider audience; both the question and its answer will only be shown publicly once the answer has been provided, checked, and approved.
To submit a response, navigate to the unanswered question and select "Add a reply". Enter your answer and then click Save. For more information, refer to Managing discussions in Employee Connections - Reply Actions.
Participating in Live Chat events
In a Live Chat event, as an Employee Ambassador, you can:
- View all questions assigned to them and unanswered questions.
- Mention and tag other users in replies.
- Assign questions to themselves.
- Send global notifications.
- View all candidates and participants.
- Respond to questions/discussions.
- Receive notifications when mentioned or assigned questions
