Recruitment Marketing Release Notes 2025

Recruitment Marketing Public

December 2025

New Workflows are disabled by default

To ensure that you are able to configure all required steps within your workflow prior to enabling it, all new workflows are now disabled by default on first creation.

Additionally, new workflows that are created by copying an existing workflow are also disabled by default.

For information on creating and enabling workflows, refer to Creating a workflow.

AI Candidate Interaction Summary

Earlier this year, we rolled out AI-generated candidate summaries. These standardized summaries provide you with an easily digestible overview of the candidate's experience, education, and skills based on their uploaded resume.

We've now extended this capability by also incorporating insights into their interactions with your career site. This information provides you with a valuable summary of their specific interests in your organisation. For example, knowing that a candidate has spent time reviewing information on diversity within your teams, or perhaps learning about a specific department within your business, could be extremely helpful in allowing you to tailor your pitch to them during conversations. As recruitment becomes more like marketing, these marketing like insights are extremely powerful.

For more information on candidate summaries, refer to AI-Generated Candidate Summary.

November 2025

Boolean search filter available on resume

Resumes are now able to be searched using Boolean logic. This will enable more advanced searching against candidates. For further details on how to search using Boolean logic, refer to Advanced candidate search for more information. Additionally, this filtering can be used beyond search. The filter can then help guide the creation of a list to better market to or organize potential candidates. For more information, see Creating a list for details.

Additional job template fields

Job template fields allow customers to map specific job requisition data from their ATS to the related job within the Recruitment Marketing module. Whilst standard fields such as the Job Title, Description, and categories are automatically mapped to the related field with Recruitment Marketing, it can also be helpful for bespoke data points from the ATS to be available, perhaps for inclusion on the job search.

To increase the flexibility of this functionality, customers now have access to an additional 5 text-based fields, meaning that a total of 15 text-based fields and 15 drop-down fields are now available for use.

For information on Job Template Fields, refer to Job Template Fields.

Manually Created Jobs (Created By field)

We've recently received a request via our Community Feedback portal relating to the management of manually created jobs within Recruitment Marketing. Whilst the User Audit Log already provides a record of the user who manually created the job, to make it easier to see the information directly, we've added the name of the user who created the job to the header of the job details page, as shown here:

Job Created By Name

The "Created by" field will only be shown on manually created jobs, and will not appear on jobs that have been automatically created by an ATS integration.

For information on manually creating jobs within Recruitment Marketing, refer to Manually creating a job in Recruitment Marketing.

October 2025

Optimised user login flow

From 28 Oct 2025, we will be making a small change to the way that some users log in to the Recruitment Marketing module.

For those users who currently visit the Recruitment Marketing login page, where you are prompted to enter your email address and password, you will notice a small change moving forward. The login page will now initially only prompt for your email address. Once you click sign-in, the system will determine the most optimal way to log you in to the system based on your specific circumstances:

  • Users who belong to an organisation that utilises PageUp's full Talent Acquisition (TA) suite, and who have an active account within the PageUp ATS, will be redirected to a shared TA suite login page. If SSO is enabled, you can click the link to be automatically signed in via SSO otherwise, you should sign in using the credentials you normally use to sign into the PageUp ATS. This is now your password for the entire PageUp TA suite, both PageUp Clinch Recruitment Marketing and PageUp ATS.
  • Users who belong to an organisation that has configured SSO access via the recently released Service Provider Initiated SAML flow will simply be redirected to their organisation's Identity Provider service, and once authenticated, will be automatically logged into the Recruitment Marketing module.
  • Users who don't fall into either of the two scenarios above will be simply prompted to enter their password to complete their login as normal.

There will be no changes to the login experience for users who currently log into the Recruitment Marketing module by first logging into the organisation's Identity Provider service (such as Okta, Microsoft Entra, or similar) and then selecting the appropriate option on their dashboard to access PageUp Clinch/Recruitment Marketing.

AI Chatbot Assistant - informal greetings

We have observed that when interacting with the AI Chatbot Assistant, many candidates first like to greet the chatbot with a message such as "Hi", "Hello", or "How are you?" before actually posing a specific question or request to the virtual assistant.

To ensure that the candidate can receive a more natural response to these kinds of interactions, we've added a new capability that can be configured to return a number of different information responses to greetings in these scenarios.

Chatbot Assistant Hello Greeting

For information on the new "Hello" capability, refer to Configuring your AI Chatbot Assistant.

Book a conversation

It is now easier than ever to set up the Cronofy integration. We simplified the onboarding process to be down to a few clicks, including that it is no longer needed to enter access keys. For setup information, see Schedule a Conversation: Initial Configuration.

Additionally, it is now possible to bulk send emails to candidates to book a conversation. This enables the ability to use the book a conversation feature in emails that are sent to lists or used in workflows. This increases the amount of use cases that booking a conversation can be used for. For example, a list after an in-person event or based on changes in ATS statuses. For more information, see Schedule a Conversation details.

Job alert customization: Select the day of the week to send

Job alerts can be set to monthly, weekly, or daily. With our latest update, job alerts are able to be chosen to go out on a specific day. This gives more control to make sure that job alerts fit within an overall marketing strategy.

To update which day job alerts are sent out. Head to company settings, job alerts.

LinkedIn CRM Connect: ACL settings now respected in LinkedIn

When creating a project in the CRM, the access control list (ACL) can be set to either all members of the company or a specified few. Those projects were previously not showing on LinkedIn. With our recent update, these projects are now showing on LinkedIn for the specified users. In addition, any project that is archived or deleted will no longer show on LinkedIn CRM Connect.

This allows recruiters to have full visibility of projects both within the CRM and LinkedIn.

For information on visibility settings, refer to LinkedIn CRM Connect: Configuration.

LinkedIn CRM Connect: Additional data synch options

Recruitment Marketing's deep integration with LinkedIn Recruiter, via LinkedIn CRM Connect, can be a real time saver for Recruiters and proactive Talent Sourcers who are using LinkedIn's talent sourcing tools to locate potential candidates for their organisation.

With the ability to see which candidates have already connected with your organisation via the career site or CRM when searching in LinkedIn, you can get a head start on connecting with engaged talent, and by being able to easily export those candidates into your Recruitment Marketing CRM, you can also let the technology take care of nurturing their interest.

Linked CRM Skills Tags

We've recently enhanced the CRM Connect integration to allow you to optionally synch skills and/or tags from your Recruitment Marketing CRM into LinkedIn, so that you can see on the candidate's LinkedIn profile alongside the existing information available to you within the CRM tab.

For information on how to configure this data to be included in the data synch with LinkedIn, refer to LinkedIn CRM Connect: Configuration.

July 2025

Job Alert CTA criteria: Workplace Types

Allowing candidates to specify their preferred workplace type, for example, on-site, remote, or hybrid, is an important aspect in terms of allowing individuals to locate job opportunities that are the correct fit for their personal circumstances.

As well as allowing you to include Workplace Type on your job descriptions, and supporting search via available search filters on the job search results blocks, we've now released an update to allow you to include Workplace Type as a selectable criteria when candidates subscribe to job alerts.

For information on creating or updating your Job Alert CTA, refer to Creating a job alerts CTA.

Dashboard customisation: Favourite Jobs

When you first log in to the Recruitment Marketing platform, you are presented with the dashboard, which gives you a single-page overview of some key information within the system.

Adding to currently available reports and widgets, which can be configured via the Customise button in the top right-hand side of the screen, we've now added a new option to include a block that provides easy access to your Favourite Jobs. When displayed, the block will provide direct access to the reporting for the jobs you have chosen to favourite.

For information on the dashboard, refer to Recruitment Marketing: Dashboard and navigation.

Two Factor Authentication (2FA): Organisational enforcement

Last year, we added the capability for Recruitment Marketing users to enable Two Factor Authentication on their password based user account. We've now made it possible for customers to choose to force all their users to adopt 2FA to access the system. For more information, refer to Two Factor Authentication.

Job Search Results: Pagination controls positioning

To improve the accessibility of the job search results pages on your Recruitment Marketing powered career site, we've made it possible for you to select the position where you would like the search result count and related pagination controls to appear in relation to the job search results.

You can opt to leave them below the job search results table as they are currently positioned, but you now have the option to move them above the search results table, which potentially makes them easier to utilise for keyboard and screen reader users, or make them available both above and below.

Job search block pagination controls

For information on updating the configuration, refer to Configuring a job search results block.

June 2025

Candidate Tags: Archiving

Candidate tags are an excellent way of easily segmenting and grouping candidates within your Recruitment Marketing candidate database. Over time, the value or currency of certain tags may vary, and it is possible for the list of available tags to become lengthy.

In response to requests from a number of customers, we've now introduced the ability for you to archive tags. An archived tag will still appear on the candidate's timeline, but it will no longer be available for selection and will not show as an active tag within the candidate profile or candidate grid.

For more information on the management and usage of tags, refer to Candidate Tags.

Career Website: Employee Connection Content Blocks

The authentic employee-generated content created via the Employee Connections module is an important aspect of your Talent Acquisition strategy. You can now utilize the content in other areas of your Recruitment Marketing powered career site.

To achieve this, we have built dedicated Employee Connections content blocks, which can be included in both web pages and email communications to allow you to share that engaging content more widely with prospective candidates.

For the latest information, refer to Employee Connections Content Blocks.

AI Candidate summary available from the candidate grid

Earlier this year, we rolled out the ability to utilise AI to generate a brief summary of the candidate based on their resume. This functionality has been available to you directly from the candidate card, and we've had a significant number of customers request that this functionality also be available when reviewing candidates within the candidate grid. We've now been able to roll that capability out to you.

Candidate Grid Candidate Summary Buttons

For information on how to configure the Candidate Summary column to display on the candidate grid, refer to AI-generated candidate summary.

Employee Connections: New User Creation and Sign Up Process

Admins can now easily add new users to the platform within the main website. Within the dashboard, there is now the ability to update your own profile, manage discussions, manage users, and go to live chat management.

This upgrade will decrease the amount of time for Insiders to create their profile and go live. For more details, refer to Employee Connections User roles and Admin platform navigation. For Insiders, it may be helpful to send them the Completing your insider profile page

New ATS Integration: Ashby

Recruitment Marketing is the perfect solution to complement any ATS solution, providing you with the opportunity to engage, nurture, and convert visitors to your career site into potential candidates for your talent pipelines and open job opportunities.

We've now added another ATS solution to our already extensive collection of out of the box ATS integrations, with support rolling out this month for Ashby.

At this stage, the Ashby integration supports the population of job postings from the ATS platform into your Recruitment Marketing solution.

For information on how to configure this integration, refer to Ashby.

Bulk Remove of tags

Tagging is a great way of easily segmenting candidates, and the automation capabilities within Recruitment Marketing, such as the powerful workflow functionality, provide a simple way to save valuable time by allowing the automation to do the heavy lifting in terms of tagging candidates.

We've heard from a number of customers that on some occasions, they use tags for short lived activities, and as such, they were looking for a way to easily remove tags from a batch of candidates in a single action. To support that need, we've made it possible to remove candidate tags in bulk from the candidate grid.

Bulk Remove Tags

Additionally, when a tag is removed from a candidate, either directly from the candidate card or via a bulk activity, an entry will appear in the candidate timeline.

For information on this and other bulk candidate activities, refer to Bulk candidate actions.

Duplicate existing Chat Message Templates

The use of SMS chat messages to engage and nurture candidates is an important part of your Recruitment Marketing toolkit, and data shows that candidates are generally more likely to engage with chat messages than they are with email.

In order to simplify the creation of new SMS messages templates, we've now made it possible for you to create a new template by simply duplicating an existing template. To copy an existing template, you just need to click the Copy icon under the Actions menu on the Chat Messages Templates page.

For information on the use of SMS messaging, refer to SMS text messaging.

May 2025

Candidate notes management

On occasions, a candidate note may be added in error by a user, so we've added the ability for a user within the system to remove candidate notes from the Notes tab on the candidate card. A user may only remove notes they added themselves, and they are not able to remove notes added by any other user.

Careers website - location format

When configuring the display of a job's location, either on a Job Search Result block or a Job Description block within the Recruitment Marketing page builder, you now have an additional format option to choose from.

In addition to the existing options, you can now also choose to display the location in the format "City, Country". For example, "Paris" would appear as "Paris, France".

Location Format City Country

For information on configuring the location display, refer to Configuring a job description block.

Greenhouse ATS - configuration of education fields

Our integration with Greenhouse allows mutual customers to enable an embedded apply experience for candidates directly on the job description pages within their Recruitment Marketing powered careers site. This embedded apply experience allows candidates to submit their initial application for the job directly from the career site, with an application being created for them directly within the Greenhouse ATS.

We've recently added some additional configuration options for this integration to ensure that the education questions included on these embedded application forms are set up correctly in terms of the mandatory aspects of the question.

For more information on the configuration of Greenhouse, refer to Greenhouse.

Ability to include reCAPTCHA on form based CTAs

Reports indicate that a significant percentage of all internet traffic is now bot traffic, with some estimates suggesting that around 30% of traffic could be considered "bad bots". This trend presents an increasing challenge to you, both in terms of the potential submission of fake profiles by bots completing web based Call-To-Action (CTA) forms on your careers site, and also the impact that the bot traffic may have on the website performance metrics.

The degree to which bot traffic may affect you can vary considerably due to a variety of factors, including industry, location, etc. To assist affected customers in minimising the potential impact of bot traffic and activity, you now have the option to enable a CAPTCHA functionality on your CTA forms.

Recruitment Marketing uses Google reCAPTCHA v2, which presents users with a checkbox for them to interact with and an optional image recognition challenge that is only triggered for suspicious activity.

For more information on how to enable reCAPTCHA on your form based CTAs, refer to Enabling reCAPTCHA on Call-To-Action forms

Candidate Rediscovery: Silver Medalists

As you engage with candidates during the various stages of the recruitment process, you potentially invest significant amounts of time, effort, and organisational resources into building that relationship with the candidate.

In the event that the candidate is not the successful candidate on that particular occasion, it is important that you are able to effectively track and nurture those silver medalists to allow you to potentially leverage that investment you've already made in that candidate should future opportunities arise where the candidate may be a good fit.

To help you easily track these candidates moving forward, we've introduced the concept of a silver medalist into our Candidate Relationship Management module, and you can easily flag candidates as silver medalists when moving through either their pre or post application journey.

For information on how to utilise these new features, refer to Candidate Rediscovery: Silver medallist.

March 2025

Job Alert subscriptions: categorise candidates

During the early stages of engagement with a potential candidate, the criteria that they select when subscribing for Job Alerts on your Recruitment Marketing powered career site can start to give you useful insight into their areas of interest.

To allow you to more easily utilise this important knowledge, perhaps to categorise them for inclusion in future nurture campaigns related to their specific areas of interest, we have updated our workflow functionality to enable you to utilise the candidate's job alert subscription criteria within if/else logic blocks within the workflow.

The options that candidates select for these criteria can now be used within the workflow logic:

  • Category
  • Department
  • Employment Type
  • Location - City
  • Location - Country

For example, this new functionality could be utilised to allow any candidates who selected "Technology" as the department when subscribing to job alerts to be automatically tagged or perhaps added to a technology list for future nurture.

Job alert Subscription workflow rule

For more information, refer to Creating a job alerts CTA and Creating a workflow.

February 2025

Careers site: Date and Time display options

We've heard from customers that they would like to have more control over the format in which dates and times are displayed on their Recruitment Marketing powered careers site.

To provide you with this flexibility, we've introduced two additional settings to the Company details configuration screen.

Date and Time Format fields in company details

The date format field allows you to select the preferred display for dates that appear on content such as jobs, blogs, Employee Connections discussions, and live chats.

The time format field allows you to select whether times should be displayed in the 12 or 24 hour (aka Military Time) format.

The selected date and time formats are utilised both on the careers site itself and in any related email content blocks.

For more information on updating these settings, refer to Configuring Company Details.

Bulk candidate actions: Add to Workflow

The ability to automate repetitive or frequently completed candidate related tasks via User Triggered Workflows can be a real time saver for you and your team - freeing up vital time to work on more valuable activities.

In addition to initiating a workflow directly from the candidate card or via the Projects screen, we've now made it possible to kick off such workflows in bulk for a batch of candidates directly from the CRM candidate grid.

For more information on this and other actions available from the CRM candidate grid, refer to Bulk candidate actions.

Additional SSO Configurations available

We've expanded the configuration options available to you when setting up SAML Single Sign On (SSO) for your users and/or candidates.

The new configuration option complements the existing Identity Provider (IdP) initiated SSO flow, where users or candidates first visit your IdP (such as Okta, Ping Identity, MS Entra, etc.) to authenticate before then selecting an option within that system to be logged into Recruitment Marketing, or in the case of candidates, into the secured career site.

Moving forward, you can choose to leave your configuration as is or reconfigure to allow your users or candidates to follow a Service Provider (SP) initiated SSO flow. In this variant of the configuration, your users simply visit the Recruitment Marketing login page, enter their email address, and are then automatically redirected to your IdP to authenticate themselves.

For candidates, when they try to access a secured page on the career site, they are prompted to click a button on your 403 (Forbidden) page, which simply redirects them to your IdP to authenticate themselves. Once authenticated, they are automatically logged into the secured career site and directed back to the page they were originally trying to access.

For information, refer to SP initiated SSO for users or SP Initiated SSO for candidates.

Career Site SSL Certificate: Renewal Reminders

The ability to configure auto-renewing SSL certificates for your Recruitment Marketing powered career site means that you generally don't have to think about when the certificate is due for renewal, and under normal circumstances the certificate will renew about 45 days before the expiry of the existing certificate, with no human intervention needed.

However, on occasion, changes to your organisation's DNS entries may inadvertently impact the automated renewal process, and to ensure this can be rectified in a timely manner before the expiry of the existing certificate, we've introduced automated email reminders which are sent to the person nominated with the system as your "Company Contact".

For information on these reminders, refer to Domain and SSL options.

AI-Generated Candidate Summarisation

We've heard from many conversations with our customers that screening and qualifying candidates can be one of the most time-consuming phases of the hiring process.

Our new AI-generated candidate summary feature streamlines this step. It gives you a consistent view of each candidate and helps you quickly assess their fit for your organisation based on their skills, experience and education. The summary provides a snapshot of the candidate before you invest more time deep diving into their full profile.

Candidate highlights accordion.png

This feature uses AI to generate a summary of the candidate's resume. This summary is displayed on the candidate's card within Recruitment Marketing.

For more information on candidate summarisation, refer to AI-generated candidate summary

January 2025

Managing workflows: Additional filters

Following the recent enhancements which have allowed you to trigger automated workflows when a candidate is tagged or added to a Project, we've enhanced the Workflows management screen to allow you to more easily identify workflows that are triggered by either of these two events.

You can use the filters to identify which workflows are triggered by the addition of a particular candidate tag, and also easily search to see whether the addition of a candidate to a particular Project is configured to trigger a workflow.

For more information on Workflows, refer to Creating a workflow.

Employee Connections: Updated Live chat landing page

The Live chat landing page has been updated to include three new key features.

  1. The ability to add to calendar - easily add to Google, Outlook, Office 365, Yahoo, or iCal.
  2. Pre-ask a question. The pre-asked questions will be available to Admins and Insiders 10 min before the Live chat begins to allow extra time to answer the question.
  3. A tutorial of the Live chat, unique to the functionality of an Admin, Insider or Candidate.

For more details on the Live chat, refer to Employee Connections Live chat events.
