Calculating return on investment (ROI) in social recruiting is an important function for any talent acquisition team. Recruitment Marketing gives you the tools to do just that.
The platform’s robust analytics feature delivers information on which social networks are bringing the most candidates to your recruiting content, how many of those candidates are converting into applicants, and even how many candidates from each social network have gone on to be successful.
To assess the effectiveness of your social recruiting efforts at a campaign level or for an individual landing page level, please follow the steps below.
Viewing all traffic data from social networks
- From the side menu, under Reports & Logs, click Reports.
- Click on the Traffic tab.
- Enter a Date Range to filter by.
- Optionally, select a Web Campaign if required to filter the data for a specific web campaign.
- Optionally, enter a Candidate location to view results for candidates in a particular region only. The results will update as filters are entered.
- Scroll down to the Top Sources section and click View All.
- On the next page, you can filter and create a report with the details you need.
Complete the following:- Name: Give your report a name.
- Date range: Enter a date range to filter your results.
- Session: Choose one of the following options:
- First visit: To view the source of the candidate’s initial visit only, or
- Each visit: To view the source of the candidate’s first visit as well as all later visits. Individual candidates will be counted multiple times.
- Traffic channel: Select Social Networks.
- (Optional) Include all page views within a session: Click to toggle this on.
- Click Generate report.
The generated file will appear in the section below the filters, giving you the option to download or delete.
The generated file will include:
- The number of candidates who originated from each social network, or
- The number of candidates who have ever visited each social network, and
- Have done the following:
- Viewed content in the campaign specified.
- Started an application.
- Completed an application.
- Become a successful candidate - This depends on your own unique company workflow and practices.
Viewing traffic data from social networks for a page
- From the side menu, under Reports & Logs, click Reports.
- Click on the Pages tab.
- Enter a Date Range to filter your results by.
- Select a Web Campaign to filter the data for a specific web campaign.
- From the Page Type drop-down, select Landing page.
- Scroll down to the Page breakdown section.
- Click on the Name of the relevant page, e.g., Home
- On the next page, scroll down to the Top Sources section and click View All.
- On the next page, you can filter and create a report with the details you need.
Complete the following:- Name: Give your report a name.
- Date range: Enter a date range to filter your results.
- Session: Choose one of the following options:
