The Candidates report page offers an overview of insights into the visitor journey, covering their behaviour when visiting your Recruitment Marketing-powered site, as well as applicant and application performance. It includes details such as the percentage of visitors who start an application compared to those who complete it, along with a breakdown of gender demographics. This information helps you make informed decisions about how to maintain visitor engagement.

Viewing candidate reports

  1. From the side menu, under Reports & Logs, click Reports.
  2. Click on the Candidates tab.

  3. Enter a Date Range to filter your results.
  4. Optionally, select a Web Campaign to focus on.
  5. If relevant, set the Candidate location and distance.

Each section on the Candidates report page will refresh based on your filters.

Candidate funnel

The Candidate Funnel in Recruitment Marketing shows your candidate's journey from interest to hire. Understanding how this dashboard tracks activity is key to interpreting its data correctly.

Visitor Behaviour

This graph of the report offers detailed insights into the behaviour of both new and returning visitors to the website.

It includes information on the number of pages each visitor views during a single visit, as well as the average amount of time they spend on each page. Furthermore, the report presents the total number of page requests served by the website. This figure encompasses all requests made by tracked and untracked visitors, search engine crawlers, and various other types of automated bots that were not automatically blocked by the system.

Demographics

In Recruitment Marketing, having the ability to report on and understand visitor demographics can support you in making well-informed decisions. The Demographics report offers a clear breakdown of gender distribution among candidates, focusing on the proportions of female and male participants where this information is available. 

Gender is estimated by analyzing candidates' first names, providing a helpful overview of gender representation within the dataset. This method offers useful insights into gender diversity and balance across the candidate pool, helping you to better understand demographic trends.

Visitor performance

This section illustrates the number of visitors to your pages, categorised by whether the visitors are known or unknown to you, over the specified date range you have selected. It offers a clear visual representation of how many visitors have been identified versus those who remain anonymous during the chosen period, enabling you to better understand your audience demographics and engagement trends.

The timeline graph shows the number of known and unknown visitors based on the date range and filters you have chosen. You can hover over the graph to view more details.

Applicant performance

This section shows the number of candidates who:

  • Started one or more applications, based on candidates who viewed one or more pages
  • Completed one or more applications, based on the total number of candidates who started an application
  • Did not complete an application, based on the total number of candidates who started an application

Each pie chart also displays the number of visitors who didn’t start, complete, or finish an application.

The timeline graph displays, according to your selected date range, the number of candidates who met any of the conditions above. You can switch between the infographics by clicking on the relevant legends below the graph and hover your mouse over the graphs to see more details.

Applications performance

Similar to the Applicant performance, this section provides details on the number of:

  • Applications started, comparing the total views of all pages with views that didn’t lead to an application
  • Applications completed, comparing the total applications started with those completed
  • Incomplete applications, comparing the total applications started with those left unfinished

The timeline graph shows the drop-off percentage rate for applications within your selected date range. You can toggle between a simplified and a more detailed view by clicking on the Drop off rate legend below the graph. Additionally, hovering your mouse over the graph will provide more information.

Non Apply CTA performance

Based on your selected date range, this section displays the number of candidates who completed any type of non-apply call-to-actions (CTA), such as signing up for job alerts, registering their interest, and downloading a file from a form.

You can switch between the infographics by clicking on the relevant legends below the graph and hover your mouse over each of the graphs to see more details.

ATS Statuses

This section offers a clear overview of the mapped Applicant Tracking System (ATS) statuses set up to align Recruitment Marketing with your ATS. It shows which statuses are active, whether they indicate a successful candidate, and the number of candidates assigned to each status. This information can help you better understand your recruitment process, track candidate progress, and ensure your ATS and Recruitment Marketing systems are working well together. Having this visibility makes it easier to make informed decisions and keep your hiring process running smoothly.
