Recruitment Marketing Public
This guide will walk you through the process of integrating your Dayforce solution with Recruitment Marketing.
Set up in Dayforce
First, we will need to set up a dedicated user account within Dayforce, which is assigned to a role that has the appropriate features enabled to allow it permission to execute the required web service calls.
- Log in to Dayforce using an account with admin permissions.
- From the main menu, under System Admin, select Roles.
- If a suitable Role does not already exist, create a new Role which has the following features enabled:
- HCM Anywhere
- Web Services
- Patch/Post candidate and job application sourcing
- Read data
- Web Services
- HCM Anywhere
- Save the newly created or updated Role, and make a note of its name.
- From the main menu, under System Admin, select User.
- If a suitable user does not already exist, create a new user, ensuring that the user is assigned to the Role created or identified in the preceding steps. Before saving the user record, make a note of the username and password for this user account, as this will need to be entered into the configuration within Recruitment Marketing.
- From the main menu, under Recruiting Setup, select Client Properties.
- Within the Client Properties table, ensure that the following property is set to "True":
- Allow candidates and job application sourcing from external job boards
- Save any updates you have made to the Client Properties configuration.
This concludes the setup required within Dayforce.
Set up in Recruitment Marketing
- From the side menu, under Integrations, click ATS.
- Click the New button.
- Click the Dayforce logo.
- Complete the form details:
- Name: Enter a descriptive name for this integration.

Client Credentials
- Namespace: This is your Company Name used for your Dayforce implementation.
- Username: Enter the username for the user account that you created previously during the Dayforce setup steps above.
- Password: Enter the password for the user account that you created previously during the Dayforce setup steps above.
- Subdomain: Optionally enter the subdomain related to your Dayforce implementation.

General Configuration
- Default language code: Optionally enter the default language code (e.g. en-US).

How are remote jobs identified: Indicate how remote jobs are identified. The available options are:
- Not required
- An ATS specific field: For Dayforce, this is the "IsRemoteLocation" field.
- Job title matches a regular expression: Enter the regular expression for fully remote or hybrid jobs in the following fields.
- Job description matches a result expression: Enter the regular expression for fully remote or hybrid jobs in the following fields.
- Regex to match remote job locations: Enter a valid regular expression to match to identify fully remote jobs.
- Regex to match hybrid job locations: Enter a valid regular expression to match to identify hybrid jobs.
- Identify hidden jobs using a jobs criteria: Optionally, enter the criteria to match to identify hidden jobs. Hidden jobs can only be accessed via the use of the direct URL for the job, and cannot be located via search functionality. For information on job criteria syntax, refer to Campaign job criteria.
- How often do you want to read jobs from the ATS: 15 minutes is recommended.
- Click Save.
Now that the configuration of your Dayforce integration is complete, the integration can be activated by clicking the Activate (play) button on the ATS Integrations management page within Recruitment Marketing.
Job Data Mapping
The following table details the mapping of data between Recruitment Marketing and Dayforce:
