Hidden PageUp Europe roles within Recruitment Marketing

Recruitment Marketing Public

You may have a Vacancy that you would like a select few candidates to apply for, but would prefer to achieve this without the job advert being publicly advertised on your career site. This can be managed within the Advertising section of your vacancy in PageUp Europe, which can be found quickest via the External/Internal item when viewing a Vacancy.

Next, click on the publishing channel (website) for which the job advert should be hidden. In this case, the job advertisement will be hidden on the External Career Site. Therefore, External Web Site - All Companies will be clicked.

Next, click the Edit button and untick Is Searchable. Then, click Save.

Once this has been done, the Vacancy will no longer appear in the search results page of the relevant careers site upon the next Job Sync. The system will also generate a unique URL link, which you will be able to send directly to your candidates.

Applicants who began their applications for a role that was previously advertised publicly can still access the role and complete their application.

If the role was posted to a job board (e.g., Indeed) before being set to non-searchable, it may take some time for the change to be reflected on their end.

How does this impact agencies?

If your Vacancy is currently advertised with any Agencies, then making the Vacancy non-searchable will hide it from them. They will still have access to the role and can continue submitting candidates. If you no longer want the agency to have access, then you must either remove that agency from the advertising section or unpublish the Vacancy for them.
