How candidates unsubscribe from communications

Recruitment Marketing Public

It's essential to provide candidates with clear and easy options to control the communications they receive from your organization. Candidates have two primary methods for managing their email preferences: self-service via automated links or being manually unsubscribed by a Recruitment Marketing user.

Candidate managed options

The system automatically includes links in the footer of every email, allowing candidates to manage their subscription preferences directly and independently.

Settings page

Candidates can navigate to their Settings page on your organization's Recruitment Marketing site. This central hub allows them to actively manage and adjust the types of communications they are subscribed to, giving them control over their preferences.

Unsubscribe Now link

A direct Unsubscribe Now link is prominently included in the footer of all communications sent from the system.

When a candidate clicks this link, they are taken to a secure, personalized landing page. On this page, they simply need to click a final confirmation button to finalize the process. This immediate, one-click confirmation ensures they are quickly and effectively removed from future communications.

User managed

Recruitment Marketing users can manage subscriptions on a candidate's behalf via their candidate profile, ensuring compliance and immediate action when requested.
