Adding a tracking ID link to an email

Emails can be used to deliver a special link with a tracking ID to any of your Recruitment Marketing pages. This is an essential step when using Kiosk Mode.

  1. From the side menu, under CRM, click Emails.
  2. Click New.
  3. Enter a name for the email.
  4. For What type of email would you like to create? select New email from theme.
  5. For the What will this email be used for? drop-down, select the relevant option.
  6. For Please choose a theme, select the relevant theme.
  7. Click the Save button.
  8. On the Edit email page, you'll need to add or edit a Text type content block. See Editing an Email with the Email Builder for related information.

  9. Highlight the text you want to link and click the Insert/edit link icon.

  10. Complete the following:
    1. URL: This will populate based on the Link list selection.
    2. Text to display: Edit as required.
    3. Title: Enter as required.
    4. Open link in: Define how the link should behave.
    5. Link list: Select an item from the drop-down, and the URL field will populate automatically. This selection is required for the tracking link to function.
    6. Class: Select as required.
  11. Click the Save button to keep any changes to the link.
  12. If no further changes are needed on the Email Block, click the Save button to return to the Edit email page.
  13. Test the configured link by clicking it.
  14. When you're happy with the email's content and design, click the Next Step button and proceed through the remaining email setup steps.
