This article details how candidate consent is captured for manually created candidates when Data Protection Rules & Candidate Anonymization is enabled.
When you have configured Data Protection Rules & Candidate Anonymization, manually created candidates will not be flagged as having consented to their information being in your CRM. Automation will flag the candidate with an alert:
This manually added candidate will be anonymised in {Configured Period} if consent acceptance has not been received from them. This is removed when the candidate responds to a candidate consent message.
Sending the consent message
- From the side menu, under CRM, click Candidates.
- Use the search options to find the relevant candidate or locate them in a list.
- Click the candidate's name to load their candidate profile.
- Next to the candidate's name, click the actions (ellipses) icon.
- Click Send Consent Message.
- In the Send candidate consent email pop-up, select the Sender from the drop-down menu.
- Click Send.
The consent email will be sent to the candidate.
Candidate consent email experience
The candidate receives an email asking for consent.
- Clicking "I agree" registers the candidate's consent. This action automatically removes the missing consent alert from their profile and marks the email record as Accepted.
- Clicking "I don't agree" will anonymize the candidate's profile.
