Archiving and unarchiving candidates

If a candidate is no longer required in Recruitment Marketing, they can be archived. This is often the case with candidates that are used during test phases.

Impact

A candidate that has been archived will be removed from:

  • Any static lists they are a member of
  • Any smart lists
  • Any job pipelines
  • Any search query results

Archived candidates will be visible from the system-created Archived Candidates list:

Archiving candidates

A candidate can be archived from either of these dropdown menus:

Via a candidate list

  1. From the side menu, under CRM click Candidates.
    Alternatively, under CRM click Lists then click the relevant list.
  2. Use the search options to find the relevant candidate.
  3. Next to the candidate's name, select the checkbox.
  4. Click the Actions button then click Archived candidates.



  5. At the confirmation prompt, click the OK button.
    Alternatively, click the Cancel button to keep the candidate active.

Via a candidate profile

The drop down menu on any candidate profile:

  1. From the side menu, under CRM click Candidates.
  2. Use the search options to find the relevant candidate.
  3. Click the candidate's name to open their profile.
  4. Click the View Full Profile button.
  5. Next to their name, click the Actions icon then select Archive.



  6. At the confirmation prompt, click the OK button.
    Alternatively, click the Cancel button to keep the candidate active.

Unarchiving candidates

  1. From the side menu, under CRM click Lists.
  2. Click Archived Candidates.
  3. Use the search options to find the relevant candidate.
  4. Click the candidate's name to open their profile.
  5. Click the View Full Profile button.
  6. Next to their name, click the Actions icon then select Unarchive.
  7. At the confirmation prompt, click the OK button.
    Alternatively, click the Cancel button to keep the candidate inactive.
