Creating a list based on completed calls-to-action

Recruitment Marketing Public

Whether in the days following a recruitment event, or once a content campaign has been running for some time, you will likely want to create a list of all those candidates who entered their details / filled out the form on a particular web page.

This can be done either of the following two ways:

By Call-to-Action where the CTA only features on one page

  1. From the side menu, under CRM click Candidates.
  2. Scroll across to find the Calls-to-Action column.
  3. Mouse hover the title and click the Filter icon to view the various calls-to-action by which to filter.

  4. Next to the relevant CTA, select the checkbox.
The list screen will update automatically to include those candidates who have performed that CTA.
  5. To create a smart list of those candidates, i.e. a list that will continue to update, automatically pulling in any and all future candidates who complete the CTA, click the Lists button.
  6. From the drop down, select the Create new list option.

  7. Enter a name for the list
  8. Define the list type by selecting either
    • Smart List and the pop up will confirm what fields will be used in the filter, or
    • Static List
  9. Click the Create button to save the list.

By page on which the CTA was performed

  1. From the side menu, under CRM click Candidates.
  2. On the right side, click the Columns panel to expand it.

  3. Scroll down to Interaction, and select the Pages Performed CTA checkbox.
You can also use this opportunity to remove the check boxes next to any fields you don’t wish to include in your grid view.

  4. Click the Columns panel to minimise it.
  5. When viewing the full grid screen, Pages performed CTA will display as its own column.
  6. Click the Filter icon to display a list of the pages.
  7. Ensure the checkboxes are selected for the relevant pages, i.e. those by which you want to filter candidates.
For example: you can see that currently, the grid is showing only those candidates who have filled out the CTAs on the page titled Careers v1.0 > Fields of Work or Careers v1.0 > Home.

  8. To create a smart list of those candidates, click the Lists button.
  9. From the drop down, select the Create new list option.
  10. Enter a name for the list.
  11. Define the list type by selecting either:
    • Smart List and the pop up will confirm what fields will be used in the filter, or
    • Static List
  12. Click the Create button to save the list.
