Recruitment Marketing Public
A Download Call-to-Action (CTA) is a powerful tool for converting website visitors into valuable leads by offering them a downloadable file in exchange for their contact information. This is particularly useful for building a talent pool of interested candidates who are willing to provide their details.
How it works:
The CTA prompts a candidate to download a specific file, which must be either a PDF or a ZIP file. Before the download begins, the candidate is required to submit their details.
Key benefits:
- Capture candidate details: By requiring candidates to enter their information to access the file, you can automatically capture these details and add them to your talent pool. This allows you to build a database of individuals who have shown a clear interest in your offerings.
- Targeted marketing: The captured details can be used for future marketing and communication. Since these individuals have already shown a level of interest, they are more likely to engage with future, targeted content.
Why it's effective:
The core principle behind this feature is that a candidate who is willing to provide their details for a download is likely to be semi-interested in what you offer. This willingness to exchange personal information for a file demonstrates a higher level of engagement than a simple page visit.
Example use cases:
You can use a Download CTA to offer valuable resources that are relevant to potential candidates. Examples include:
- A "Pathway Guide" that outlines career progression and training opportunities.
- A "Candidate Information Pack" that provides detailed information about specific roles or the organization's culture.
