Employee Connections Content Blocks

The Employee Connections module allows you to reinforce the Employer Brand messaging on your career site with powerful employee generated content. Employee Connections' always-on question and answer platform, along with the Live Chat functionality, allows candidates to connect directly with your existing employees, providing validation around your messaging. You can extend the reach of that valuable employee generated content to other areas of your talent attraction strategy by utilising content blocks to showcase your Employee Connections content on website landing pages or by including it within nurture emails.


Before you can start to utilize the Employee Connections content blocks, you will need to enable the synchronization of data from your Employee Connections module. To do this:

  1. Log into Recruitment Marketing.
  2. Within the main menu, navigate to Company Settings.
  3. On the left menu under Web, select Employee Connections.
  4. Click on the API Integration tab.
  5. Fill in the form with the API credentials which can be supplied by your PageUp Group representative:
    1. Employee Connections Domain: Your employee connections URL without "http://" at the start for example: api.employee-connections.io
    2. Platform ID
    3. Platform Access Key
    4. Status: This is used to activate and deactivate data syncing. Until the other fields are filled in, this integration will not sync

Note: If you cannot see the Employee Connections synchronization options then reach out to PageUp Group to have it enabled.

What data is synchronized?

The following data is synchronized:

Live Chats

The following is some of the Live Chats data that is synced from Employee Connections using their API:

  • Title
  • Description
  • URL
  • Start date and time
  • End date and time

In the coming months, more Employee Connections data will be added to the synchronization, allowing for the release of additional content blocks.

Employee Connections Live Chats

Once the synchronization is configured, a new editing block will become available for both Web Pages and Emails.

Web Pages

A new page editor block will be available under the section "Employee Connections blocks" called "Live Chats".


This block can be configured to show your upcoming live chats or show a specific live chat.



A new email editor "Live Chats" option will be available when adding a new block to the email. Clicking this will add a block to show "Live Chats"


This email block can be configured to show your upcoming live chats or show a specific live chat.
