Recruitment Marketing Public
If you have many jobs, you may wish to simplify the search process for candidates by grouping jobs based on their common location or department. Once you have a dedicated landing page for each city or department that lists the relevant jobs, it’s good practice to showcase how many jobs are available in each by means of including job count blocks on your careers site homepage.
Job count types
In Recruitment Marketing, job counts can be captured in the following ways, as detailed below.
Simple text blocks
Image blocks with a text overlay
Adding job count to a text block
Job counts will appear on a page by means of a content block. A content block lives inside a column within a row.
This can be added as follows:

- Click the Name of the relevant campaign.
- Click the Name of the relevant page to load the Page Editor.
- In the Page Editor, click the Add Row icon to add a row of the relevant dimensions.
- Within that row, click the Add Block button.
- From the Content Block Library, under Common blocks, hover over Text and click Add.
- Click the Edit Block icon (pen) that appears in the top left corner of the block.
- Delete the lorem ipsum placeholder text.
- Enter the text that you would like to see above the job count, which is to display the department or location.
- From the Tags drop-down, select Job Counter.
- In the Job counter query pop-up, enter the location or department criteria, e.g.,
city = Dublin or department = Marketing. For more information, refer to Campaign job criteria. - Click the Ok button.
- Back in the Text editor, consider adding some accompanying text, e.g.,
position(s)oropen job(s)alongside the job counter tag for context. - Click the Save button to keep the changes.
- Back on the Page Editor, the new block will display, complete with job count.
