Recruitment Marketing Public
By understanding which keywords visitors to your careers site are typing into the search field and how those keywords are performing in terms of the number of jobs they're returning, you can create more customised, more relevant, and more effective job descriptions to drive more traffic and increase conversions.
Reporting on a keyword search
- From the side menu, under Reports & Logs click Reports.
- Click the Search tab.
- If required, enter a Date Range to filter by.
- Select a Web Campaign to focus on.
- Enter the keyword to view search performance on, for example: part time.
- Click the Search button.
The screen's sections refresh displaying any results found.
Notes:
Where any additional filters were applied to the search query in addition to the relevant keyword, these will be included in the Additional Query Filters column.
The example below shows that a candidate searched for part time and got 212 jobs returned. They then applied a City: New York filter as part of their keyword search. That particular search returned 2 jobs.
Top Keyword Searches
To view your top keywords as determined by most searched, click the Search tab to return to the general search screen and scroll down to the Top Keyword Searches table.
For a more detailed report on search performance for any specific keyword(s), click the relevant hyperlink in the Top Keyword Searches table, for example Internship. A screen will then load displaying the Search Performance for "Internship" graph and the Search Detail for "Internship" listing.
