Candidate Consent

Recruitment Marketing Public

This article describes how candidate constent is captured for manually created candidates when Data Protection Rules & Candidate Anonymization is enabled.

When you have configured Data Protection Rules & Candidate Anonymization, manually created candidates will not be flagged as having consented to their information being in your CRM. Automation will flag the candidate with an alert “This manually added candidate will be anonymised in {Configured Period} if consent acceptance has not been received from them.”

This is removed when the candidate responds to a candidate consent message.

To send a candidate consent message

  1. Next to the candidates name click the actions menu
  2. Select Send Consent Message

The consent email will be sent to the candidate.

Candidate consent email experience

The candidate will receive the candidate consent email with an 'I agree' or 'I don't agree' link.

When the candidate clicks one of the links:

  • I agree: The consent will be recorded, and the consent missing alert will be removed.
  • I don’t agree: The candidate profile will be anonymised.
