This article outlines the steps to create and configure the Candidate Consent email within Recruitment Marketing. Additionally, it also covers how to assign the email as the default template for candidate consent communications, ensuring compliance and consistency.
Create candidate consent email
- From the side menu, under CRM click Emails.
- Click New, then complete the following
- Please name your email: This is a free text field for the name of the template.
- What type of email would you like to create?: Select New email from theme.
- What will this email be used for?: Select Candidate Consent.
- Please choose a theme: choose the theme.
- Click Save
You will be directed to the Edit email page, where a pre-populated candidate consent email will be displayed.
- Review and update the email text to meet your requirements.
- Under the Settings tab
- Name: This will pre-populate but can be changed if required.
- Subject: This is a free text field for the email’s subject.
- From: Select the sender from the drop-down.
- Preheader Text: This is optional but can be useful to provide candidates with a summary of what's inside the email. This will display in the user's inbox if used, otherwise, the beginning of the email will display.
- Tick Personalise links to enable it.
- Click Next
- Preview the email
- Click the Send Test button to test the new email.
Assign as default Candidate Consent email
To setup the new email template as your default Candidate Consent email.
- From the side menu, under Company click Settings.
- Under Email click Candidate emails.
- Under Please choose the email to be used for Candidate Consents: select your template.
