Enabling jobs boards integration

Note: If there are existing feeds already pushing to any of the jobs boards listed below, for example from your ATS, please turn those off now to avoid duplicate listings and to ensure the accuracy of your Reports data in Recruitment Marketing.

  1. From the side menu, under Integrations click Feeds
  2. The Channels page has the following categories of jobs boards
  3. To add a new feed, click New.
  4. Select the type of feed you would like to create from the drop down list and then click Save.
Note: With the exception of the Generic Feed, you can only have one feed of each type. It is possible to have multiple versions of the Generic Feed enabled to suit your needs.
  5. Complete the information for your new feed:
    • Description - give your feed a descriptive name.
    • Default UTM Source / Default Source - the value entered here will be appended to the URL for each job in the feed as a utm_source parameter.
    • Feed identifier - enter a uiniqe identifier for the feed
    • Criteria - to limit the jobs included in the feed, add revelant criteria here. For information on syntax refer to Campaign job criteria.
    • Company name strategy - select the appropriate field to populate the company name value within the field. Options available are Company Account or Job Template Field. If the later is selected, you will need to select a job template field in the drop-down field below.
    • Enabled - specify whether this feed should be enabled.
  6. Click Save to retain your selections.
  7. You can enable previously created feeds by clicking the edit icon, selecting the Enabled field, and then clicking Save.
  8. You can see which feeds are enabled by checking for the tick under the Enabled column:

Note: Recruitment Marketing jobs board feeds are updated every day. It is at the discretion of each individual jobs board as to which jobs they do and do not list.

Custom fields

The Generic Feed, along with the majority of other feeds, allow for the inclusion of custom fields which are populated from Job Template Fields.

To add a custom field to a feed:

  1. Click the link under the Custom Fields column for your feed.
  2. Click New to add a new custom field.
  3. From the drop-down, select the Job Template Field you would like to use as a custom field.
  4. Click Save to retain your selection.
  5. Repeat as necessary for additional custom fields.

Specialist Jobs Boards

These jobs boards are typically region specific and regulatory compliance in nature. Configuring these job boards where applicable, allows you to meet such regulatory compliance obligations.

Next to the relevant specialist job board, click the copy icon. This will copy the feed URL to your clipboard. Provide that URL to the job board company to consume.

Generally, job boards require locations defined for the feed to function.

Manually sharing a job from Recruitment Marketing

The Jobs Boards feature automates the process of sharing jobs to jobs boards. If you wish to distribute your jobs to a jobs board that is not included on the channels screen, you may do so manually, by following these three simple steps:

  1. From the side menu, under Content click Jobs.
  2. Next to the relevant job, click the Copy URL icon.
  3. Paste the link into the social management tool you are using to share and/or schedule posts, for example: LinkedIn.
